Our Plan - Phase 1
The ultimate purpose of WATCM is to provide a faith-based alternative to methods currently used to reach our youth.

Since as early as 1998, WATCM has had an active hands-on approach to reach male citizens of the urban core.

WATCM interacts regularly with juveniles of the KCMO Juvenile Detention Services. Through various outreach opportunities, i.e., conducive one on one mentoring sessions at the juvenile facility with trained Christian mentors, inviting and escorting these young men to various community events, monthly men and boy's meetings, church and other weekly meetings away from their group home or the juvenile facility.

Though we have successfully impacted the lives of many young men over the last six years, by reaching youth in their present state and environment, we are confident that:
NOW is the time to build upon the successful foundation that WATCM has so carefully and prayerfully laid.
NOW is the time to take WATCM to the zenith of its potential.
NOW is the time for the WATCM Residential Group Home for Boys.

Our Plan - Phase 2
The WATCM program has always envisioned the establishment of a group home to successfully implement the full spectrum of care, training and treatment needed to address the needs of our youth.

This facility, located in Kansas City, Missouri for young men 12 to 21 years of age with behavior disorders - inclusive of all races, religious backgrounds and ethnic origins, will serve as a support to the current juvenile system.

The WATCM Home program will incorporate behavioral training in a stimulating, family-style support system. Staff interaction and encouragement will be used to foster the youth's sense of self-worth and confidence.

The structured environment will successfully combine teaching the social, educational, vocational, domestic and independent living skills necessary for our youth to move nearer to independence.

Our overall goals will be met through the use of community educational, vocational, recreational and social resources as well as through a program that includes skill building in spiritual foundations, trade skill acquisition, GED training, computer technology and counseling - all taught by professional certified volunteers.
